I know I can't be the only one that loves this show. Does anyone else yell at the screen for the survivors stupidity?
I find myself talking at the TV everytime I watch this show. I'm a big fan of the comics and zombies in general, so their poor choices are even poorer to me sometimes. I just watched the Season 2 premiere and it was better than most (all) of the tail-end of season 1. I'll be sticking around to see how it turns out for sure. I really like Norman Reedus' character addition (he's crossbow dude, I can't remember his name), I hope he sticks around for a while. Shane I don't care about so much, but that's for reasons related to the comic I won't share for fear of spoilers
when that chick in the closet when buck wild on that zombies ass with the screwdriver she had zombie kill of the week
I have a feeling that the guy that shot the deer is going to be missing an appendage. Just a hunch I have never read the comic. I also get a feeling that Shane (the adulterous other cop) and Andrea ( the blonde suicidal one) are gonna be doing some breeding. Would anyone else who hasn't read the books like to chime in with suggestions on what they think the future holds and we will see what holds up?
I don't think Shane will manage to get away like he originally wanted to. He talks a big game, but I don't think he could ever leave Lorie, or Carl for that matter. That said, you're probably right about him and Andrea. Yeah, I don't think deer hunter will be whole for much longer when Rick gets his hands on him. All I really hope for is Crossbow Dude sticking around and being more badass than he already is... I also don't think Sophia is done for. Well, really, I'm 75/25 on that since AMC can go either way with that sort of thing. I'm actually surprised the black guy is still alive, since you know... standard horror rules. All of this is conjecture and is spoiler free, in case anybody was worried I'd accidentally give stuff away.
I get mad every time they do something stupid. "Dumb fucks! Secure a perimeter before wandering off!", "Scout 1st!", "Don't leave the girl all alone in the forest!" etc.
Reactions to this week's episode: 1. Ah mah gahd, it's a boomer/floater. 2. Did they REALLY think that was a good idea? 3. Lol, Glen. 4. I still don't care for Lori.
Meh, I was underwhelmed by the finale. Good, but nothing that made me jump up from my seat. Still, better than season 1.
I'm just glad there's more then 6 Episodes in Season 2. NOM NOM BRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAINNNS! I too was underwhelmed by this season, I had to drag the wife to watch it, she said it wasn't holding her interest.
The graphic novels are considerably more interesting than the show, imo. Still, if they keep going the route they are (i.e.: following closer to the books), then I have hope for the next season or two being quite good.
I have been on set a few times for this show. A few friends of mine had roles as zombies in this show, and it doesn't hurt to live only about 20 minutes away from most of the filming.
Way cool Kyosji! The show is great...hating the mid-season break...but probably for the best with the holidays and the super stupid extended bowl season.
