Any chance we could get a bunch of TF2 mods and play some BOC vs community TF2 mods? A few off the top of my head: Zombie Fortress Prop Hunt Vs Saxton Hale any other good ones that people know of that could viably work for an event?

Zombie Fortress is extremely fun. I used to run a server that had it and a few other mods on it and Zombie Fortress was always a big hit. It was kind of ridiculous when the Fists of Steel first came out, though... dunno if anything's been done about that.
I've tried Zombie mod before and it was pretty good. I've played prop hunt in G-Mod but not TF2 yet, sounds like a blast

Yeah, PropHunt is fun, but it's really the most exciting when there's a lot of people on. There's also TF2Ware, but that's only fun for an hour or so in most cases.
haven't tried that one yet. I really miss playing maps I used to play on before joining the BoC servers like the prop hunts, or the other different ctf maps, cp maps..lol. Good times. I need to hit one of those prop hunt servers again sometime xD
I'd love to see a BoC server running a rotation of some of the popular ctf/cp maps. It can be hard to get people onto a new server like that, but if enough of the regular 2fort players were interested...
You know, I was going to ask one of the admins on my friends list if they had ever considered this. I'd certainly head to a rotation server. It's incredibly difficult to find a good one, and sometimes I don't want to play on 2fort or Goldrush but do want to play on BoC. I've also been wondering if a Payload Rotation would be at all feasible. Of course though, money. TF2Ware is pretty OK, I think ZombieFortress, VSH and PH are more fun and miss playing them. Heck, I miss non-serious TF2 in general!
Alternatively, we could turn the 24/7 Goldrush into a Payload Rotation. I would be more apt to play on the server if it were rotation rather than just Goldrush. That way, money is not an issue, and we all get to play the maps we know & love.
Server 2 was supposed to have changed into a rotation o.0...I guess that never happened? Because we talked about changes during a clan meeting and I even made a thread about it on here. Because there's quite a few of us who get tired playing only on the same servers with no change whatsoever lol -_- I don't know what happened to this whole "change"..Hmmm...=/..*goes to check clan threads* ok.. the way that server 2 was "supposed" to work..is have Goldrush (because that's a hands down must have for Vet) and some other map for the rotation. Perhaps I'll open this topic up for the opinion of the community because it's you guys who love playing on our servers and such..so some valuable input is always needed. hmm incoming thread lol.
Thanks, Cuppy. Back to events: For reals though, ZombieFortress is great. If you guys ever wanted to run it I'd be more than happy to come up with a list of decent ZF maps. 3 I can come up with off the top of my head are zf_Dustbowl, zf_Asylum and zf_Panic. Maybe zf_Twilight, but that has a pretty well known glitch that can be annoying to deal with. Some events I've run that aren't -really- events are maps like Balloon Race and Wacky Races. For people who like silly maps, these are pretty good at keeping people around for a little bit. I believe you can still run the Halloween version of Mountain Lab (Mann Mansion I think?) and trigger the Horsemann, but lots of servers run that. PropHunt is great, but for the life of me I don't remember what maps are any good. Red Valkyrie was more into PH than I was. Maybe she can chime in with that. Conclusion: Events are fun and you guys should totally try them out sometime.
