Seems like a lot of people on my friends list are playing this at the moment, so I thought I would start a thread where we can tell eachother about our Skyrim experience.

    I will kick it off.

Hi, my name is Uther Pendragon and I am a Nord.

Likes: Long walks though the countryside and mountaintops with Lydia. Armour, heavy armour. I wear full plate head to toe. I was fond of dwarven armour with a horned steel helmet, but I made that fine and gave it to my good friend Lydia. She sports a variety of axes and swords and bows and sheils. We both prefer one handed weapons, I guess that is why we get on so well. I like my bow of binding, so I can charge up my enchanted weapons, she like her dwarven bow of shocking, cuz well, it is rather shocking.

Sometimes when we get lonely I use my Sanguine Rose to bring us some company to make a party of it, that is always fun.

It is also nice to have a quiet night at home in our Breezehome residence in Whiterun. If you are ever in the neighborhood please stop by, but knock first ;)

Dislikes: Dragons. I really dislike dragons. I mean we are wondering about the city, and what do you know, dragon come to call. We are hiking through the hills and of course a dragon intrudes. Very rude, those dragons. I usually just shout at them and they are not a problem, but it is the principal of it, how intrusive and rude!

Imperials, how I hate the Imperials. When we come across them and they have one of my brother stormcloak in chains I never hesitate to free him.

Credentials: Thane of Whiterun (well kinda shit on my Jarl, but I am still a thane), Leader of the Companions (you might have heard of us, if your cat is stuck in a tree give us a shout), Arachmage of the College of Winterhold (kind of funny in that I am a warrior, but whatever, I still earned it).

I am Christoph, Imperial born in Skyrim.

Likes: Deceit and thievery as the head of both the Thieves Guild and the Dark Brotherhood. Full dragon-scale armor, except for the mask of Krosis, all enchanted by yours truly. Living in Solitude with my wife Mjoll the Lioness. I also love my humble servant Jordis the Sword-Maiden Who bravely fights along side me. My weapon of choice the blade of woe. I like to ride dragons and i have killed their former king Alduin.

Dislikes: Un-dead, Forsworn, Argonians, and members of the Stormcloak rebellion

Credintials: Thane of both Whiterun and Solitude, Leader of the Dark Brotherhood and Thieves Guild, Legate in the Legion, and Arch-mage of Winterhold.
  3. Levykid Member

    Cheesy the Argonian.

Likes: The sounds of many arrows thudding into their fleshy targets as he enters a room. Nightingale armor. Being near invisible when he chooses. Stunning targets with his accuracy. Killing dragons, sometimes multiple dragons in a row. Raiding ancient Nord dungeons. Shouting dragon shouts in town to impress and frighten people. Money. Stupid bandits. Disarming traps (because really, you're never going to catch me off guard.)

Dislikes: People that call getting hit with a shout assault. Seriously, it was only a push, pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and stop bitching, because it could have just as easily been fire breath. Hagravens. Spriggans. OP Mages. Rude people. Dragons that never land. Rude/racist Nords and Imperials. AI companions. Children. Vampires. The city of Solitude. Orcs.

Credentials Listener of the Dark Brotherhood, Leader of the Thieves Guild and one of the Nightingale Trinity, Archmage of the College of Winterhold, Thane of Whiterun, Sword-brother of the Companions, Master Archer, Champion of Mehrunes Dagon, Namira, Molag Bol, and Azura, and soon to be the richest lizard in Skyrim.

Signy, Werewolf Nord with a bad case of wanderlust.

Likes: I travel all around Skyrim with my.. "companion".. Aela. She uses bows, I rush in and crush the enemy's bones with my warhammer. It works out well. She's been teaching me archery, which is a welcome change from my usual weapon of choice. I've a bad habit of wandering far off course while hunting or mining, but that's alright - I like discovering new caves, hideouts, ruins and towns. I love to read, though you might not guess it from looking at me. I also have a fondness for alchemy, but don't spread that around too much. I'm a werewolf and find great joy in letting loose the beast within and it is very helpful in some battles - and I have yet to pay that 1000 gold fine. Being a nord, mead is very important to me, as is food, especially when cooked by Aela. I'm a steadfast supporter of the Stormcloaks and gladly lend them my strength.

Dislikes: Mages, all of them. They should fight me with a real weapon. Belethor (I don't like his tone). Riften. Spriggans. Giants. Enemies who try to dodge my swings. Dragons who won't accept my challenge and fight me.

Credentials: One of apparently many thanes of Whiterun (the Jarl leads you to believe this is some sort of honor, but it really doesn't seem that way.) Sword-Sister of the Companions. Wielder of the legendary battleaxe Wuuthrad (when necessary). The Dark Brotherhood wants me dead. Really, are credentials necessary? I'm damn good at crushing the craniums of those who stand in my way, and that's really all that matters to most of the people in Skyrim.

update: member of the theives guild, and the brotherhood has contacted me and wants me to join (who wouldn't want me), thane of several other cities now. But my heart belongs to the Stormcloaks and my heads in Mississippi, scratch that, Whiterun. One of my resent missions brought me to the Emperor's widow, I could have killed her there, but I didn't, she seemed pretty sweet, and kind of cute for a non nord.

Also my favorite shout is firebreath.

++++ out of character+++ ever been in a situation where you are just trying to figure out what to do, and then you realize, oh yeah, I am a werewolf, and morph and kick ass?
  6. Hal Jordan Member

Ah, fire breath. A shout that truly warms my soul. My favorite, as well... though ice form is mighty handy too.

(All the time, Cricket, except usually my solution is "oh yeah, I have fire breath" instead of "oh yeah, I can make a lengthy transformation into a werewolf. I love that spell so much, but it takes up soooo much time.)
  7. LordSloth Member

Cricket, you've got the funky fly full plate from head to toe? Makin' with the freak-freak?
  8. Hal Jordan Member

Update: Recently named Thane of Eastmarch.

Too bad you all missed the Ceremony, but Njada Stonearm and I were married in Riften. Unfortunately it had to be done on the quick as I had to lead the Fort Snowhawk takeover. Once we were married, in a very lovely ceremony, I and the Stormcloaks took over Fort Snowhawk. My lovely wife, meanwhile, started up a store. When I got back I found she earned us a whole 200 gp. Good job, honey. We decided she should travel with me, while Lydia minds Breezehome. As we were wondering Skyrim, I realized that Breezehome was getting a bit crowded with Njada and Lydia, so we purchased a house in Whiterun, where Njada can kick up her feet when she is not out adventuring with me. Being a Companion Njada cool withmy werewolf nature, but I am not sure how she will feel about the bloodbath behind the false pannel in the wardrobe, so ichtsne on the ositclay).

In other news, I have been contacted by the Black Brotherhood, seems they want something. Also it looks like I will be head of the Theives Guild shortly. I am now Thane of Windhelm. At times there seem to be so many burdens that I will be crushed, but thankfully I have Njada to help me carry it.
  10. Red Valkyrie Member

So is anyone not a werewolf? The downsides are so very tiny in comparison to the ability to crush entire dungeons in less than 180 seconds.
  11. Levykid Member

I'm going to be getting rid of it when I can, I see it as an unnecessary power when I'm playing sneaky.
  12. SteelCricket BOC Executive Officer

I was arrested as part of a quest, there I was all alone, out numbered and trying to kill people with my pickaxe when I realized, "hey I'm a werewolf", the tide of the battle quickly changed after that.
  13. Red Valkyrie Member

Yeah, at 1st I was thinking "I'm a sneaky character. I have no need of being a werewolf", but sometimes the tides of battle don't go the way you expected them to, and after you sneak attacked, and wasted all your magicka, and are in a hand to hand with light armor and a dagger... werewolf would be very useful.

Holy crap that looks cool, now all I want to do is roam around (more than I usually do) and find amazingly awesome places lol

I'll have to add my .02 cents :)

    Rouge Sandcrest: Imperial, lvl25
She's no thief, but enjoys sneaking. Hobbies include making those who do harm, sprout thin wooden limbs shaped like arrows, tomb exploring, and griefing all matter of creatures with pressure plate traps :D

    Will keep posted with updates

Ya know. I bought this game with all the crappy gift cards i got for Christmas...played till after that beginning village with the dragon, then haven't played it since. Not that it's a bad game, just so much work to keep myself involved when I also have TF2 and work to deal with.
  18. Gen732 New Member

    General the Imperial

Likes: Killing dragons. Killing mages and other magic users. Killing dragons. Killing those not using magic. Killing dragons. Raiding dungeons. Killing dragons. Hoarding lots of gold. Killing dragons. Sporting the latest Daedric armor and weapons around the town. Killing dragons.

Dislikes: When I have to use magic because some idiots are just not getting the idea when I slam my battle axe into their heads. I mean, c'mon, what good is your fire bolt against a heavy axe to the brain? So you can shoot lightning from your arse! Congratufreakinglations! Good ol' negotiation by steel works better.

Credentials I'm a Thane in a couple of places, something about some companions, blah, blah, blah. Ask for my credentials again and I'll show ya my axe mister!
