Greetings, I was playing on the TF2 #1 Server this afternoon around 2:30pm. You had a player log in by the name of Nig'Gar, King of the Darkies. Not only is that an attempt to get around your racism filter, but he insisted on alternately playing and griefing. He would stand in front of friendly snipers and block their view, and randomly do that to other team mates at other times on the map. BoC LordSoth and BoC 2 Old were on the server at the time, but on the opposite team, so other than the name, I'm not certain if they were aware of the issues.
Aliases Nig'Gar, king of the Darkies Nighor Dhix Permaban issued for racial names and greifing on our servers. This has been reported by a long standing member of our community, and the names are supported by our stats.
The name did catch my eye once, though I didn't know about the griefing. I think I only played for about 10-15 minutes today- thought about banning just for the name but had a phone call and had to get off the computer. Thanks for reporting it, SwedishChef.
Muchas grassy assy, guys. The only reason I caught the name thing was because he was originally on Red and killed me, so the name popped up. Then he got auto-balanced and would sometimes legitimately play and sometimes just stand in front of his team mates swinging his melee weapon. LordSoth - real life always comes first - I completely understand. And 2 Old, like I said, you wouldn't be able to necessarily notice the griefing, as you were on the other team, and I only noticed the name myself when he originally killed me. All in all, the server is better off without him and I appreciate the quick response.
