Vet IMed me over AIM at work today. Said he prepared a post at work, but it didn't go through. First a little background: I noticed that Kuscheltier was not tagged BoC and was playing on a server with many of our server 2 regulars. I asked him where he was playing and he said a "magical server." He then told me that he resigned from BoC. He did not post in our forums like Rental or Freak, but did PM Vet. Said he was moving on. NippleCannon (and I suspect Renegade, Koko/Aya, and Thief as well) started up a new server, and with that, most of our regulars were playing there last night. I checked some of the public chat, and only one reference to "Coloured Pylons" was noted. But, no server IP, etc posted. From Vet: He's a dick and needs to be banned. Also, ensure no recruiting is going on in the servers. Don't harass any regulars that are playing on that server, but if more people from number 2 are seen there, then NippleCannon will get banned too. Senior members know the deal, we've been through this before.
haha, i told you that guy was a fag. no one should be ever voted into BoC without passing the redpyro screening. they never last because they are fucking bags of dogshit. with that being said, server 2 has been dead the last few days. my guess is that fucktard is taking people there....but whatever, why did we both doing what he said with server 3, now that he is retarded and not her to run his project. fuck that guy, in the ass with a tire iron....sideways
That's lame. I know he was mostly a server 2 player and most of us don't play that one that much so he probably felt left out, but still, he should've been aware of that before he applied. And is he the one that wanted crits back on on server 3? Why? Anyway, internet treason is punishable by death and spamming cat memes. Someone get on that.
Apployment team FULL STEAM AHEAD!!! Anyway, Server 3 was actually full last night on Dustbowl. Only saw a few "regulars" (AdamWest / Subpop). Adam said, "the rotation is fun." Too bad Adam isn't BoC, he plays like 8 hours a day. Kusch didn't interact with the clan much from the first day I joined. Guess you could say he was a Kouche bag.
that was my biggest issue with him, he was never around and the few times i was in vent with him, he never said a word. then he started wanted shit changed and 2 days later he leaves. i like 3, hard to get going in the early afternoon when i am around, but i like the change of pace vs goldrush i am still experiencing the trying to start servers and people in #1 that won't leave it to help. but dont worry vet will be home soon and they will have to help remember the last asshole who left and tried to start their own server. i forget who it was, but it was a big deal and like less than a month and their server was shut down. this will be the same, they will run out of money and they better be banned so they cant come back here
Meh.. I am jsut disappointed that it is one less peron to help get 3 going, I found most people have been good about hopping on three and helping it to get started.
Knew he was a prick, sometimes it took alot for me to resist yelling at a fellow clan member, just ask Hallucin8 Joins the clan, no one ever sees him, then has the nerve to come onto the forums and insult people who don't agree with him. Good riddance.
I for one liked Kusch, and I'm kind of sorry to see him go. Hopefully I don't get flamed out for saying so, but he seemed like a pretty good guy, though, and played all the time on Server 2. Wonder what made him leave?
I liked him too. Thats why it pisses me off when other members talk shit about him. But I guess thats just how some people are. So is this how everyone gets when someone leaves... they just sit there and bad mouth them. And who the fuck cares if he only played on server 2... its good that at least someone goes on it. He was in vent... he tried 2fort... sure maybe not when some of you early people play but really... Its not cool to sit here and bash them after they are gone. Its fucking real mature...
We're not really attacking him personally, we're kind of attacking his actions. That sounds like a cop-out, maybe, but whatever. Vet has brought this up many times saying we're like a little family, and we kinda are. I pretty much spend more time talking to all of you then anyone at work or in my family. We tend to take things personally. If it was just a message to all of us, "Hey, I'm not really fitting in here, I wish you guys luck," there would still be some jabs, but nothing serious and we would have wished him luck as well. Because he just left through a private PM to Vet and then started playing on some other server with a handful of our regulars, we got mad. It'll pass. And this doesn't happen with everyone who leaves, Ygrath or Freak for example. Please don't take this as a sign we are a bunch of assholes who talk about people behind their back. That's not the case. Even if he had just taken off the tag it probably wouldn't be that big an issue, but with that whole new server thing we got upset. It's happened to us before.
I totally enjoy watching some of the chaos that turns in events like this. If you liked Kusch that is great and props to you for having their back, however if you want to come into my forums and curse at me and be disrespectful that is a whole different story. Let me educate you all on some facts here. The Brothers Of Chaos group is not for everyone, we have built a foundation of trust, respect (unless your redpyro) and loyalty - I am just estimating here but probably 70% of the members in this group have either been in the clan for 2+ years or part of the community 2+ years - this tenure and in some ways online family is what sets us apart from other communities. We have bickering, arguing and other drama but at the end of the day the one thing we all concur on is loyalty. When that loyalty is broken it isn't pretty, case in point here. Kusch in my opinion showed a serious lack of respect for "all of you" by not coming in here and expressing his views on leaving this clan - his bullshit message to me First off I didn't offer him shit, you all did and as many pointed out several times his passive aggressive behavior is was stirred the pot. I want people to be to the point and say what they mean not have some round about way of saying something as to not try and make themselves look one way. The only thing I did do was step in when some members were going a little to far but as I expressed to Kusch via pm and others - there were no victims in the posts as everyone had their piece of the pie. Now Jenn if your loyalty lies with Kusch so be it, if you want to talk shit about the members of BOC to him and ramble on about these posts to him then you will have made your choice as well and can join him. You want to defend him in these posts because you think people are off base - no problem but do it in a respectful way - everyone is entitled to their opinions but there is a right way of doing it and a wrong way - but at the end of the day I look at loyalty, and to be very clear "defending kusch in these posts" does not show a lack of loyalty to this clan in my opinion however if you agree in his methods and recruiting people from our servers and etc.... and choose to talk shit about the peoples viewpoints you disagree with in here to him well then that does show a lack thereof. These are private forums and private discussions for members of the group and if they are taken from here and relayed to others - expect repercussions. Annihil8, Another member I do not know but of no fault of your own. If I was to speculate I would say it was all the drama that unfolded in his post to kamikazee. People sometimes think the grass is greener on the other side and most of the time they are wrong. However events like this allow us as a community to reflect and move on - in my opinion I assume his personality simply was not a match for the groups but instead of it just being that the following drama will unravel
Please please please don't let this start any more drama. We all have different opinions about everything, but we all fit together nicely and I really don't want to see anything start to get out of hand.
Vet, I know I don't know you yet either (other than the Founder), and I'm looking forward to playing with you when you get back. The way I saw Kusch treated on our servers was a bit sad, and honestly, I didn't really feel that he was all bad or a douche or anything. I just think he didn't really enjoy playing 2fort, and he didn't play during core hours. I'm disappointed that he left. I know it speaks negatively toward him that he ditched on such poor terms, and even "stole" some players from our servers, plus the whole Kami drama, etc. I understand why people are pissed here. I really do think he got the short end of the stick, whether the others would admit it or not. And no, I'm not going with him, or joining the enemy's side, or whatever else people might say. If you tell me to drop it, I will, I just wanted to give my two cents. I just joined a few months ago, so I'm not a senior member. I understand the weight that carries. This just isn't black and white problem is all.
It's definitely not black and white and I assure you I am fully aware that some members of this group definitely did not give off love that would have kept him around. But as I have said before, there is a right way to do things and a wrong way of doing things. I do not like to disclose the context of private discussions however I will just say that Kusch has pm'd me several times so the door of communication was completely open to him so to me I take this as a tantrum and could have been handled another way. I will be back online next month and I assure you that some change is coming with me. The bottom line here is it's not a matter if kami was a turd to him if pyro made him want to jump in front of a moving bus and its definitely not about he didn't like the direction this clan was going it's a matter of how he left, the perception that went with it and now there being another server and etc... out there. All these vents were easily preventable and I say that because he was in open communication with me and two all he had to do was go about this differently. As for you, Jenn or any other new member - why it is you all are under this impression because you are not senior members that your opinion carries no weight around here baffles me. If that perception is in the air then let that shit end here! Anyone in this clan regardless of tenure has a voice with me, anyone who has a valid suggestion or concern will be heard but again to beat a dead horse here, there is a right way and a wrong way -
I read Jenn's and Annihil8's post as an honest commentary not talking about people behind their backs. We don't know/see the details of Kuchs methods or recruitment practices, but if he leaves and people who like him follow, thats his business. Regs are free to make their own decisions. No one is "stealing" anyone. I actually find your comments such as "Let me educate you all on some facts here" quite disrepsectful. I can only speak for myself, but frankly, I'm not here to be educated. I play for fun and I do my best to encourage and grow the community. I don't want this jeopardize by this kind of drama.
That is the marvel of words - they can be perceived many ways so that is yours and definitely one way of looking at it. Again those who have been around here have seen this before. It appears to me swiper you picked one key statement out of everything I said. My issue with Jenns statement was her approach and using the word fuck a couple different times and not just because the word was used but the context it was used in - my comments of talking about members of BOC and the content within the private forums was to ensure it was very clear that if that occurs it will draw a line in the sand for those who do it. Regulars can go wherever the hell they want to and it again appears you missed the entire concept of "IF they are recruited from our servers, THEN it will become an issue
I hate drama. Let's just move on without Kush. He left. However the situation of 'stealing' people is a rather delicate matter. If they encourage their friends to leave with them, that's one thing. Another if they come back and try to get people to leave in spitefulness. The latter I've not yet seen evidence of, but if the latter were to occur I think most people'd be angry about it.
