Cool, I haven't participated in one of these in a long, long time. I suppose I'd be on for community. If best day options are Saturday or Sunday, with enough warning I can get either one off of work, but I'm more likely to have Sunday off. Time doesn't matter, and map... 2fort is fine, or Badlands, or Granary, or Coldfront, or Dustbowl, or Gravelpit.

I'd also be down. I'm good for pretty much any day/time combo, as long as it's reasonable. Any map is fine by me, but I prefer a CP.
I'd be on whatever team that wants to be dragged down. Oh, I guess that would be the BoC team. From 8 or 9pm central time, nights fairly open. Fri/Sat/Sunday best.

Are you guys advertising this at all on the server? I'm sure there are some community people who just don't check the forums and would enjoy participating (Conan, for example) but have no idea it's really going on.
I added an advertisement in the text box, shortly after seeing Hal's post so it should be popping up. I need to see if I can change the color so that it stands out. We have normal ads going in yellow, we have the option of adding it to the middle of the screen, but that would get players attention and make them want to kill me at the same time. So I am going to see if I can make it in red so that it stands out in the chat box for those that don't normally watch that area.
Prince..I vote for color orange font..or some color close to that. reason being-Red is a harsh color to use for fonts. very aggresive..orange-sets the tone for seriousiness but yet fun. Yellow, would be all fun..but lack the serious business. I know it doesn't really matter but, uh..sometimes the different colors you choose can affect a person's choice/mood in doing things.Just saying... ^_^ heh..color theory. xD
Going along with what Cuppy said, minus the color theory... Red might also blend in with most of RED base (but it might be bright enough to not matter). Orange or yellow might work better, or something really obnoxious like bright green. Yeah, avoid middle of the screen ads unless you space it out to only pop up once an hour or something. I remember having ads and whatnot on a server I used to admin and the middle of the screen text gets the most response because it's right there in your face, but it also gets more complaints than the bottom center of the screen like you have it now. You should be able to change the color pretty easily. IF you're using the advertisement plugin I'm familiar with, you can also set it to do Team specific colors so people on BLU will see Blue text and people on RED will see Red (and Spec will see grey). Dunno if that's a good idea, but it's an option to make it stand out.
